The Vine Herbal Products company was started in the UK by former steeplechase jockey, Lui Carenza, in 1994. It derives its name from his home, "The Vine", in England's Cotswold Hills region where Lui first prepared and packaged the creams, powders, etc., himself. Now all the Vine Herbal Products are professionally manufactured using ingredients that comply with British Herbal Pharmacopoeia (BHP) standards. All of Lui's products were formulated based on herbal remedies used by successful race horse and race dog trainers, as well as by himself.
