Rapid No.1

Description:

This liniment works rapidly, hence the name Rapid. The forerunner of this formula has been used for more than 2000 years by martial arts experts in China and Japan to relieve pain and accelerate healing after fractures, sprains and impact injuries.

The formula has, after four years of trials with competition horses and greyhounds, proven to be completely safe and very effective in the treatment of sore shins, tendon strains, curbs, knee problems, splint bones, muscle damage, tender joints and inflammation caused by impact.

Ingredients:

The main ingredients are (listed in order of relative amounts): Flos carthami (Safflower), Rhizoma corydalis (Corydalis tuber), Radix Angelicae sinesis (Chinese angelica root), Boswellia thurifera (Olibanum, Frankincense), Commiphora myrrha (Myrrha), Caesalpinia sappan (Lignum Sappan), and Acacia catechu (Catechu).

Favorite uses:

  • People
The Rapid liniment was initially developed for human athletes. The liniment should be massaged gently or simply wiped onto the affected area at least twice a day.

Try it on your sore muscles and you will see how good it must feel to the horse when you rub it on his tendons. Great on shin splints too! Be prepared though because the herbs in the tonic that give it the yellow color will also give your skin or your horse's white hair a yellow color. But don't despair, the color washes off readily.

  • Horses
Many of our customers use Rapid as a first aid measure for tendons. After a heavy work out they wipe on the lotion, in the direction of the hair.

Others also use the liniment under a stable bandage. A gamgee (cotton wool sandwiched between two layers of gauze and used for padding beneath bandages) can be soaked with the liniment and applied under a supporting bandage.

Limited Quantities:

We have limited quantities of Rapid No.1 in stock and will not be restocking it due to the rising cost of importation.
